1. Admissions
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the minimum academic or professional requirements specified for each short course. Certain programs may mandate prior qualifications, relevant work experience, or specific skills as determined by the respective department.
Ineligibility:
Individuals previously expelled, rusticated, or penalized for misconduct, academic dishonesty, or violations involving moral turpitude from any institution are not eligible for admission.
Foreign Qualifications:
Candidates with foreign credentials (e.g., O/A Levels or equivalent) must submit an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), if applicable.
Admission Confirmation:
Admission is finalized only upon document verification, full payment of the course fee, and completion of all university-specified requirements.
2. Fees and Financial Policies
Fee Payment:
Full payment of course fees is required before classes begin, unless otherwise approved by the university administration. Fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional cases authorized by the competent authority.
Scholarships and Discounts:
Limited scholarships or discounts may be available based on merit, financial need, or university policy. Each participant is eligible for only one financial concession per course.
Policy Amendments:
Riphah International University reserves the right to modify fee structures, scholarship terms, or financial assistance policies at its discretion without prior notice.
3. Academic and Conduct Standards
Attendance:
Participants must maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for course completion and certification.
Dress Code:
Students are expected to adhere to a professional dress code, reflecting the university’s standards of decorum. Males should wear dress pants with full-sleeve shirts and ties or neat Shalwar Qameez; females should wear modest, professional attire.
Code of Conduct:
Participants must demonstrate respect, discipline, and adherence to academic integrity. Violations, including the use of unfair means, disruptive behavior, or non-compliance with university policies, may lead to disciplinary action, including course dismissal.
Certification:
Certificates are awarded only to participants who fulfill attendance, academic, and conduct requirements as outlined by the department.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Data Usage:
Personal and academic information is collected solely for course-related administrative, academic, and communication purposes.
Data Security:
Riphah International University is committed to safeguarding personal data in line with its privacy policies. However, participants acknowledge that no online data transmission or storage method is entirely secure, and the university cannot guarantee absolute protection against all risks.
5. General Provisions
- Riphah International University reserves the right to revise or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Enrollment in a short course signifies full acceptance of these terms.
- Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Islamabad, Pakistan.
